They say a smile is . . . The prettiest thing you can wear.

A glowing set of white teeth is what everybody is looking for. They can make anyone look healthier, younger and more attractive and that’s why Americans spend over a billion dollars a year on over-the-counter tooth whitening products, usually without being conscious of their risks.

Do you feel ashamed to smile considering your ugly yellow teeth?  You will no longer need to bother about those ugly yellow teeth that steal away the charm of your smile and replace it with absolute uneasiness and embarrassment.

Usually, teeth gradually darken with age, however, extra elements and behaviors can accelerate the yellowing. As you get older, the enameled surface on your teeth tends to become lighter, thinner and much more translucent. Teeth also soak up fluids’ colors throughout your lifetime. Tooth Discoloration can be caused by chromogenic elements in herbal teas and caffeinated drinks, Cola, Soda, Sports Drinks, nerve deterioration from an injury, poor dental hygiene or certain antibiotics …

Oftentimes people favor professional treatment to whitening their teeth, but these remedies are time-consuming, risky and costly. Luckily, we don’t need them – we can easily head to our pantry and most likely locate at least one ingredient that whitens the teeth naturally. Not only is it a safer choice, but also more affordable, too.

1. Strawberries

Strawberries are supposed to help whiten the teeth because they contain an enzyme known as malic acid which is now used in certain whitening toothpaste products. The fiber content in strawberries also acts like a natural cleaner by eliminating harmful microorganisms from the teeth and mouth.

  • You can simply mash up the strawberry to make a strawberry paste or directly brush your teeth with it.
  • Maintain the fruit juice on your teeth for one minute, after that wash your teeth with water.

You have to brush your teeth immediately with your regular toothpaste after using strawberry because it is acidic and full of glucose which are potentially bad for your teeth.

2. Apples, carrots, and celery

Apples, carrots along with celery make an effective stained teeth remedy. They promote saliva creation, which appears to be the body’s integrated washing component. These are vitamin C-rich foods, which serve to prevent periodontal disease and gingivitis.

3. Citrus fruits

Citrus fruits to whiten your teeth

Citrus fruits, for example, pineapples and oranges stimulate the mouth to produce extra saliva, that actually helps wash and whiten your teeth. Lemons, especially, are remarkably potential teeth whiteners. they can brighten up your teeth.

  • Mix 50% drinking water with 50% fresh lemon juice.
  • Wash your mouth with this mixture a couple of times per week.

You should not use this mixture more than twice per week and never use a pure lemon juice on its own. Overdoing it can be destructive to your tooth enamel.
