By  |  0 Comments

This list of habits will improve your life greatly because they are simple and easy – Each task can be done in less than 10 minutes –  but highly effective.

1- Keep Your Living Space Organized:

When you get home from work or school, do not sit down. Spend the next 10 minutes tidying, putting things away, or cleaning stuff, and you will have a much, much more pleasant place to live, plus you can relax and be lazy during your day off.

3- Stretching is important:

Simple daily stretching movements can be very effective, especially if you are tall. It will save you thousands instead of going to chiropractors. You’ll feel like all your limbs are ready for the day. If you have a little more time, you should try  The “stretchy type” of yoga. I really enjoy X3 Yoga. The poses last for a minute or so and the whole thing takes only half an hour. It might seem short, but you feel so good when you’re done.

The 7 Minute workout: The exercises shown are just a sample. So you can pick and choose, if you don’t like an exercise or physically can’t do one. Just put together a rotation you like and stick with it for a while. As you get stronger, you can decide whether you want to add more into the rotation or go through multiple cycles. The goal is simple: just get a little exercise every day.

5- Spread The Love:

Talk to your mom or dad. Don’t take for granted that they are here with you now.

6- Save Up Money:

7- Relax, Take a Step Back:

Do nothing. Not a singular thing that requires effort. Sit back, relax and daydream. But whatever you do, do not think about what you have to do, what went wrong, what could go wrong, or anything like that.

It is truly shocking how big of an impact simply taking a step back can have. I have started taking a 5 min break for ever 2 hours of working (I hyper focus and lose track of time). I have gotten better at my work, started solving the problems at hand faster and reduced my daily caffeine intake by 2/3rds. Honestly, it has done me wonders to simply cease mental function for a few minutes, relax, and then get back down to business.

8- Meditating:

Meditating has, in many ways, enhanced my life or even saved it. Most of my life, I suffered from anxiety and had random panic attacks. Meditating, or even just deep breathing helped me get over rough times. I also have sleeping problems and most nights, my brain can’t slow down enough to allow me to relax and sleep. Almost nightly, I have to meditate and focus on my breathing to get some rest.

It’s not for everyone, a lot of people have told me they can’t slow down their brain and end up just sitting there thinking about things until they get bored. But if you focus and are determined, meditating can do wonders for your life.

10- Write Down What You Are Grateful For:

Take a minute every day to write down something you are grateful for.

Being grateful and angry/sad are mutually exclusive emotions. You cannot experience anger or sadness while you are doing this. If you do this every day, you will find your mental health improved, and your outlook on your life brightened.
